Delete your account

Last updated · August 7, 2026

How to delete your Kleos account and the data attached to it, from the app or by email, and what we are required to keep.

Delete from the app (fastest)

Signing in and deleting from the app is the quickest route, and it needs nothing from us.

  • Creators — open Kleos, go to Profile, scroll to Data & account, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
  • Brands — open Kleos, go to Workspace, then Security, and choose Delete account. Deleting the last owner of a workspace deletes the workspace with it.
  • Web — the same controls live at kleos.arthea.ai under Settings.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we did it, email privacy@arthea.io from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". Tell us the account email and whether it is a creator or a brand workspace.

We may ask you to confirm from the account's email address. That is the only identity check we perform, and we ask for nothing else — never a document, never a payment detail.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

  • Your profile, login credentials, and any connected social accounts and their tokens.
  • Messages, campaign participation, gifting and contract records tied to your account.
  • Uploaded media, media-kit content and exports.
  • For a brand workspace: the roster, campaigns, imported contacts and workspace settings.

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data outlives the account because the law requires it or because it no longer identifies you.

  • Invoices, payment and payout records — kept for up to 10 years, which is the statutory accounting retention period. We cannot delete these on request.
  • A suppression record (a one-way hash of your email) — kept indefinitely, so a deleted account is not re-created by a later import and so you stay unsubscribed.
  • Aggregated and anonymised analytics that cannot be traced back to you — kept indefinitely.
  • Security and abuse logs — kept up to 12 months.
  • Public creator information sourced from public profiles, where it was never part of your account, is handled separately: see the privacy policy for how to opt out of the creator directory.

How long it takes

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Emailed requests are actioned within 30 days, and normally within a few business days. Backups are rotated on a 35-day cycle, so a copy can persist in encrypted backup storage for up to 35 days after deletion before it ages out.

Your other rights

You can export your data before deleting it, from the same screen in the app. You can also request access, correction or restriction rather than deletion. The privacy policy sets out these rights in full, and how to complain to a supervisory authority if you are unhappy with our response.
